Registration

Joining is three steps

Registration is not open right now — the 2026 season has wrapped up. Registration for the 2027 season opens in January. When it opens, joining is three steps:

  1. Join USA Water Polo

Every athlete must be a current USA Water Polo member. Learn to Play requires Bronze level or above. Have your USA Water Polo number ready — you will need it to register. Each membership runs through the expiry date on the athlete's own USA Water Polo account.

  2. Register with Bend Waves

Pick your program and complete registration. Every registration includes a Bend Waves T-shirt.

  3. Jump in

The first two weeks are a trial period — if it is not the right fit, season refunds are available during those two weeks.

Scholarship

The Louisa Joy Cornish Scholarship

Louisa was more than a teammate — she was a cherished member of our water polo family, and her joyful spirit is still part of this club. Her scholarship offers financial assistance to Bend Waves athletes who need it.

Any player who wants to play should be able to — regardless of the ability to pay.

The fund covers 40% to 90% of season dues depending on household income, and applying is private: only the club's President and Secretary ever see an application, and coaches are told nothing but that a player is cleared to play. Applications are taken with season registration, which opens in January.

Safe Sports

Respect, in and out of the pool

Respect, fairness and integrity come before winning at Bend Waves. We are committed to a safe, inclusive environment where every athlete is valued, every voice is heard, and sportsmanship is how we play — at home and everywhere we travel.
